“Every child who can read chapter books has read this book as quickly as they could because the next child was ready to snatch it from them! We highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the rest of the series.” - Erin Slocum Home School Mom, For Him and My Family http://forhimandmyfamily.com/2020/04/light-of-mine.html
Light of Mine Classroom Edition
Light of Mine Classroom edition is designed to help teachers and home educators enhance their student's learning experience. It contains an additional reading comprehension section with questions from throughout the book. This provides educators with potential reading assignments and discussion topics. The section also provides references to additional complimentary teaching aids related to reading and creative writing from Towers of Light Christian Resources.
Towers of Light Christian Resources understands that it can be a bit daunting to invest in a book for class, even if it has rave reviews.
"Overall, I think this is a good book for children. Light of Mine sounds like a story parents may read to their children at bedtime. Homeschool families may be interested in using the book. I look forward to reading more in Allen Brokken’s series The Towers of Light.
There would not be a problem with adding Light of Mine to a K-12 Christian school library. It is appropriate for upper elementary and middle school students."

Author Q & A Video
Allen Brokken loves to encourage children to write. To help with this, he will accept student questions from your class and record up to a 10-minute video answering those questions.
Mr. Brokken came to our 8th grade Reading and Writing Class. The students loved learning how to create a book/story from an actual author. I defiantly think it made learning more interesting and personal. We appreciate him taking his time to share with the students.
